Alphabet Boot Camp T-Z

We finished Harper's Alphabet Boot Camp today.  I made a book of all the pictures we took to help Harper remember the activities and words for each letter.  Hopefully she had as much fun as I did going through the alphabet!

 T is for tree.

I made the kids marshmallow teeth mouths that they could brush with a toothbrush and floss.  Ethan spent his activity time eating the teeth.

We had a tea party in the tub.

We watched Totoro before bed.  Harper loves this movie as much as Lisa and I did!

U is for upside down cake.  Harper was very excited to bake something again.

It didn't turn out exactly as planned, but Harper got the idea.

It was a perfect day for an umbrella.

U is also for unicorn.

We spent V day baking again.

We made volcano muffins!

We cut out the middle of chocolate muffins and added liquid jello and dry ice.  It was fun to watch our edible volcanos erupt!

 V is for vase.

We made a voting box and voted on a couple activities.

I wanted to go on a walk.  Harper and Alex outvoted me for a movie.

W is for whoopee cushion.  We had fun with this one!

Watermelon

We used the left over dry ice for a wicked witch brew!

X is for x-ray.  Dr. Harper looked through these veterinary images for anomalies.

We made a colorful xylophone.

Harper had a treasure map where "X" marked the spot.

Good thing daddies can help read treasure maps.

She found the chocolate treasure!

Y is for yo-yo.

We did a trick with a plastic bottle to separate an egg yolk from an egg white.

It worked!

Y is also for yarn.

We had a yummy yogurt treat for an afternoon snack.

Z is for zebra.

We played with zippers!

 We made zig-zag art.

I had been saving boxes to make a zoo for Harper's animals.  She decided a dinosaur zoo would be more fun.

And that's a wrap!
