Luckily, our M day fell on Mother's Day. I had been wanting to take a mountain hike so it was perfect! We went to Bakers Mountain Park near Hickory, which was only an hour away. We unfortunately missed the turn for the overlook onto the mountains, but the hike was lovely anyway.
We ate our lunch once we arrived at the park.
Ethan did a little hiking.
Harper did great!
Towards the end, there was a lot of holding, as expected. I did decide to order another child carrier on the drive home.
