Monday - The Most Magical Place on Earth

Monday we were scheduled to go back to Magic Kingdom.  In addition to park tickets, you also need park reservations (this started during covid).  I bought our tickets a year in advance and had to plan which park we were going to on which day in order to have the reservations.  We also had park hopper tickets, which meant we could switch to any park after 2pm.

I switched to our Halloween family banner.

Rope dropping Tomorrowland!

We went straight to Astro Orbiter because this one does not have a lightening lane and the line gets longer throughout the day.

Next, we did Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.

Harper and I were very into shooting the bad aliens.

Ethan wanted to ride the Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover.  It is a nice little ride with pretty views!  It also doesn't have a lightening lane so it is good to do in the morning if you don't want to wait.

We tried to sneak in Tomorrowland Speedway during early theme park entry time, but still had to wait a little for this ride.  Luckily, I had a backpack of activities to do in line.

Next, we had a lightening lane for Thunder Mountain.  We rider switched this ride so Ethan wouldn't have to be scared.  Rider switch is great, but it does add time because your family does the ride twice.

Alex and Harper

We headed over to the Liberty Bell Riverboat for a ride before our lunch reservations.  The Liberty Bell is a steam powered boat with pretty views.

Sleepy Hollow

I was most excited for our reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table where you can eat in the castle.  When the pandemic started, the princesses stopped coming around to tables, but you can still meet Cinderella prior to eating.  It was great!

It was just as beautiful as I remembered!

Alex's dessert was a dark chocolate mousse with a caramel and praline center served with chocolate sauce and hazelnut gelato.

My dessert was a coffee-infused coconut custard with passion fruit gelee.

After lunch, we headed over to meet some more princesses.  We used a lightening lane to meet Rapunzel and Princess Tiana.

The Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse!

We wanted to see the parade in the afternoon so we planned our day around it.

After the parade, we headed over to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train again as this was Harper's favorite ride in Magic Kingdom.  I had individual attraction passes for this and used rider switch.  It worked out perfectly because Ethan needed a nap.

After Seven Dwarfs, we went over to Space Mountain to use another lightening lane with rider switch while Ethan napped.

After Space Mountain, there was a downpour!  Luckily we had an umbrella, a stroller cover and ponchos!

We decided to head home and take a break prior to our dessert party reservations.

We had appetizers at our hotel in the club lounge.  After we ate, we headed back to Magic Kingdom for our fireworks dessert party.  I booked this party as soon as I could sixty days in advance.  For dessert parties, they serve all you can eat dessert and drinks in a roped off area where you can sit and watch the fireworks with an amazing view.  It was nice not to have to fight crowds to see the firework show!

We each ate our weight in desserts.  I tried every single one!

They had sparkling apple cider for me and Harper.

What a view!

We rode Pirates of the Caribbean again before heading home.  The kids picked out swords for souvenirs.
