Sunday - To Infinity and Beyond

We went to Hollywood Studios on Sunday.  Harper had watched videos prior to our trip on all the roller coasters.  She was desperate to try Slinky Dog Dash, but decided against riding Rock 'n' Roller Coaster (goes upside down) and the Tower of Terror.  We took at bus from our hotel to Hollywood Studios.

We headed directly to Toy Story Land to rope drop Slinky Dog Dash.  I had a lightening lane for it for later, but you can only use lightening lane once per ride per day and we knew it would be Harper's favorite.

Ethan was terrorized again!  Harper loved it!  We decided not to scare Ethan anymore after this ride and to use rider switch going forward.  With rider switch, you check in with a cast member prior to riding and they give one child an extra pass.  Alex would ride with Harper, then after they finished, I would ride with Harper through the lightening lane with no wait.  It was great because Harper could then ride every rider switch ride twice and Ethan could avoid further trauma.

Next, we headed to Galaxy's Edge, the Star Wars area of Hollywood Studios.  Because of my lightening lanes, we did a lot of zig zagging in this park.

I bought individual attraction selection passes for Rise of the Resistance.  The longest wait I heard of for this ride was seven hours!  We walked right on.  This ride was amazing.  You are part of the resistance and go on a secret mission, but are captured by the First Order and have to escape.

Next, we watched Muppet Vision 3D.  We saw several shows in Hollywood Studios and they were great!

Time for a Mickey pretzel snack!

We loved the Frozen Sing Along show.

We rode Swirling Saucers next back in Toy Story Land.

Our next stop was lunch at Docking Bay 7.  I brought lunch for the kids from the room.  Every restaurant is exquisitely decorated with no inch overlooked.

Again, the food was amazing.

Chewbacca waved to the kids when he walked by!

We stopped to get some blue and green milk.

Ethan and I liked blue better.

We caught a parade!

Jessie tapped Ethan on the head.

We watched Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage.

Next we went to see Lightening McQueen's Racing Academy.  It was cute.

Stormtroopers passed us by while waiting for our reservation.  We had amazing Oga's Cantina reservations.  It is a super cool bar in Galaxy's Edge with tons of nonalcoholic options too!

Next we went for ice cream at Echo Lake!

We went to a Disney Junior Dance Party after our ice cream.  It had several characters from the Disney TV station.

We got our first signatures!

Then it was time for our Smugglers Run ride.

We had to work as a team in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon to accomplish our mission.

This stormtrooper talked to Harper!

We rode Star Tours next.

Different tattoos!

Harper rode Slinky Dog Dash again twice in the evening with rider switch.

My last lighting lane was Mickey's Runaway Railroad.

After Hollywood Studios, we went back to our hotel for our late dinner reservations at Artist Point with Snow White!

I still can't believe we snagged this character meal reservation with Snow White right in our hotel!

Alex had a neat drink with rosemary smoke.

My drink was a spin on a Shirley Temple with apple and white cranberry juice instead of cherry.

The Queen!
