Hurricane Ian came through Charlotte on Friday and we ended up loosing power late Friday night through Saturday night. Prior to loosing power, we made haunted Halloween houses. It was a very tasty activity! It was fun to be without our electric devices when the power went out. We read the kids books with flashlights and used our fall scented candles. We had our fireplace on the entire weekend. Saturday, Harper had her first curling practice and we had a cookout in the alley with our neighbors.

We attempt to go to Carowinds Sunday, but it ended up being closed. We bought fireworks instead and lit them Sunday night!
