We knew Monday was going to be full of adventure so we made sure to stop for breakfast. We went back to Chibali for breakfast. Ethan sure loaded up on the sugar. We were scheduled to go to Xplor park for a day full of activities in the jungle.
You enter into a cave system underground to get to the park entrance.
The zip lines get busy in the afternoon so we made sure to do this first. We picked the series of seven zip lines. You zip line from one point to another and end in the water after the seventh. Some we did alone, some together with a kid and some the kids did together.
We had to climb up tall towers for the take off points. I was definitely out of breath!
Next, we did the amphibious vehicles.
Our next adventure was paddling in the underground river.
This was way harder than it looks!
It was beautiful!
After the paddle, we did an obstacle course that started with a river swim, then moved above ground and ended with a slide back into the caves!
After all the morning adventures, we had a lunch break.
Harper and I went in line to ride the toboganxote, a giant water slide! Ethan was too small so he and Alex played in the wave pool while we were in line. The line took an hour to get through.
It was so much fun!!!
Our last ride in Xplor was the hammock zip lines.
We had coffee and cookies after this with iguana company.
We went to the children's pool back at resort after we returned. There is a big octopus slide. The kids loved it!
We picked up a few new stuffies.
Our dinner reservations were at Cuevas Monday night. It is a restaurant in a cave at the resort. It is known for being a Brazillian steakhouse.
They came around with lots of different meat options.
