We had family photos scheduled for Tuesday morning at a couple different locations around Paris. We met our photographer at 6am, much to everyone's dismay. We ended in Montmartre. I figured we would be too tired to explore the area so I had planned to come back the next day when we were less tired. I can't wait to see how these turn out!
We had breakfast after our photos were done in the Place du Tertre at La Mere Catherine.
Ethan was wearing my sweater because it was so chilly.
We rode the Funicular down to the Metro stop to get home.
After a short break at home, we headed back out to Luxembourg Gardens. Despite the chilly temperature, the kids wanted ice cream.
We rented little boats for the kids.
We checked out the playground next.
Then headed to the Tuileries Gardens to explore. We started with lunch here.
Then we rode the Roue de Paris, a giant ferris wheel.
We had reservations, bought precisely seven days before the desired day and time of visit, at the Catacombs!
Our Airbnb was near the Les Halles district where the former Cemetery of the Holy Innocents was and where all these bones (two million people) came from!
Alex found me alcohol-free wine to enjoy on our balcony.
