We celebrated the last two birthdays of our family this week! Ethan's birthday was on Tuesday. He was at gymnastics camp and said the counselors made it special. He was even thrown into a foam pit! He had asked for a Smarties cake... a bowl of Smarties. Nanna and Grandad came over with birthday gifts and were able to enjoy the "cake" with us. My birthday was on Thursday and my office had a super cute and delicious cake for me. Alex and I went out to eat at a new restaurant and it was amazing! Harper had plans to take a friend to the movies "on her own" and Nanna was kind enough to chaperone so I wouldn't have to on my birthday. I had my first, and unfortunately not last, seventy-two hour call this weekend so I don't have a lot of pictures, but Alex and the kids stayed busy. They went out to a brewery with Alex's friend and his cute dog Friday night. They went to Emily and Frank's house Saturday morning then had friends over for dinner Saturday night prior to going to a Weird Al concert. On Sunday, Harper took a friend out to ice cream before she moves to London this week.

This was one of the best mocktails I have ever had!
I wanted brownies for my birthday so Alex made this pan. It was delicious. It was my third dessert of the day and it was my favorite.
