Iceland Day 7

Friday morning I spent around five hours doing laundry at our campsite.  The washers were all tiny and the dryers took two cycles to dry.  It was painful, but necessary.  Luckily, the kids got to sleep in that morning.

We drove to the adorable town of Seydisfjordur after I finished the laundry.  You drive down a steep mountain littered with waterfalls on your way into town.

Rainbow road!

We walked around town and stopped here for burgers.

On our way to our next stop, we passed hundreds of waterfalls.  We could see a canyon from the road and decided to stop and explore.

We found this beautiful waterfall hidden in the canyon.

We crossed over a mountain during our drive with thick fog.

I took many window pictures during our drives.  The views were ALWAYS stunning.

We made it to Stokksnes with a beautiful black sand beach, Vestrahorn mountain and a Viking Village Museum.

The Viking Village was built for a movie set that never finished.

It was a super windy day.  I could hardly stand to be outside the RV, but the kids played on this beach for over an hour.

Our campsite had beautiful views.  The wind continued all night and Alex and I were nervous at times it would knock over the RV!
